...a rainy Saturday morning

A drop of rain on new spruce growth.
A self portrait taken from the reflection of a raindrop covered rear view mirror.

A wet dandelion.

Rain droplets on blades of grass.

It was raining heavily last Saturday morning when Gabby and I went for our morning truck ride. We toured the North Road out to Captain Cook State Park and then back to the Kenai City Dock. We saw lots of rain. So, I took pictures of some of it. It was a good way to spend...a rainy Saturday morning.

Enjoying the pictures! How was the online photography course?

Hi Doug, Thanks, glad you like the pix! The course was good. However, some of the material was rather dated. They were still discussing and using film cameras in the examples and demonstrations. Kind of weird for a digital photography course.

Great shots Wally. I think this could be a post retirement vocation. Your pics rival or surpass most of what I've seen in the local galleries. If you could partner with them to sell your stuff on consignment, then mass replicate your stuff and under price the big name guys you could make a killing on volume. Or you get into Boudoir photography. Just an idea.
